Octavio Asensio is a designer and university lecturer based in Madrid. He founded Octavio Asensio Studio in Madrid in 2014. His work focuses mainly on the aesthetic values, manufacturing processes and meaningful details that stand out in each of his designs.

In each product he develops and researches a proper and essential language, paying special attention to the relationship between user and object, sustainability and spatial balance.

His job is to design furniture, lighting and consumer products. He is continuously experimenting with shapes, materials and manufacturing processes. This workflow allows him to discover new lines of research and innovation that he transfers to his designs.

Octavio has carried out several design teaching collaborations, currently being the tutor of final studies at the IED in Madrid campus, specializing in Home.
